Remind me what did Josep Borrell do when he had power? This is the "europe is a garden" guy btw.
Not to say that he is wrong here, but this is just lip service from a career politician serving the very same people that pushed the genocide.
I just don't like Spain getting good rep because of empty rhetoric, while in reality they materially support Israel.

I know, israel did this to undermine the PLO, but i ask you what did Borrell do when he held one of the top EU positions? Nothing. These ghouls don't deserve any good rep for minimal lip service.

Not now but they did fund Hamas some time ago to undermine the PLO*, it's a well known fact. Not unlike what is happening with Syria, helping headchoppers take power to justify seizing more Syrian territory with the excuse of “helping minorities" which they later will kill.
that's not what the other guy said, he didn't say "oh back in the day israel indirectly or directly used hamas to undermine other groups" he said "Hamas is supported and funded"
