anyone here see all 5 of the original planet of the apes?

i went in knowing nothing about them, i just really like apes and monkeys so it's always been on my list. i loved them. 5 being my least favorite but the series as a whole is now one of my favorites. i didn't know there would be themes of class war, slave revolt, animal exploitation, anti-war, none of that. i thought it was just a movie where apes talked and humans were their slaves.

and how do yall feel about the reboot? i've only seen the first one, years and years back before i ever watched the originals.

a lot of people seem not to like the later original movies, but i loved them. 4 was incredible. this speech goes so hard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osQqp_8ATS0

They are the best example of why people end up devoting themselves and worship revolutionary leaders in cinema tbh.

Caesar is basically Mao, Lenin etc. He liberates his people, for generations to come, and for that they owe him their lives.

Even if you disagree with Che, these movies make you understand why people are to this day so* devoted to him in Cuba.
