I live in Japan right now so it's hard to support Canadian companies, but it has become my family's mission to avoid US services (we downloaded all of our photos and files off Google and cancelled our subscription) and shit made in the US or by American companies (McDonald's, meats, produce, snacks). It's been so satisfying.

I feel bad for involving my kids, though, because it feels like I'm indoctrination them. I did tell them why we're doing this, and that they can make their own calls when they start making their own money.
