"being Republican is what you want to be" sounds too reddit-like for this to have been written by Trump.
(Sideshow Bob voice) You secretly long for a cold-hearted Republican to lower taxes, brutalize criminals, and rule you like a king!
Modern fascism is getting really blatant about the esoteric egoism. Pretty soon MAGA people will be embracing full solipsism and walking off cliffs believing that they can fly because they are the fulcrum around which the universe turns.
And I'll be watching while snapping pictures for my kids and grandkids saying "neat!".
