OP didn't say anything about the length. Some of us are in a dark, quiet room, beside someone who is sleeping. We don't want to watch a video, we want to read stuff.
Also, how the fuck are we supposed to know how long it is without clicking on it?
It’s subtitled, so there’s your reading.
Whoever I open a YouTube link, it’s muted until I tell it not to mute. So there’s not much excuse for not at least clicking a link to check how long something is.

Nice doubling down on hand-waving away people's very real reasons why they prefer to read a quote, rather than wait for it to come on the screen... Want another one? I don't want to support YouTube/Google and their privacy invasions.
