For this Optional Kino Lagniappe, we have The Time That Remains
A 2009 semi-biographical drama film, with a slight surreal feel, co-written and directed by Elia Suleiman. Based on his account of Palestinian life under the {Zionist entity}-occupied Nazareth, it covers events from 1947 prologue, the 1970s, the 1980s to the current day of 2009. It was shot with a flat space filming style reminiscent of Wes. Andersen.
Suleiman participated in the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, as his new film competed in the official selection category.[1] The Time That Remains was also screened at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.[2] In November 2009, the film won the Jury Grand Prize (with About Elly) at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. The film won the Critics Prize of the Argentinian Film Critics Association at Mar del Plata International Film Festival.[3]

Honestly, the only disturbing thing about this movie is that, due to this place relatively less repressed, in comparison to the West Bank or Gaza, this movie may run the risk of looking sanitized in its depiction of {Zionist entity's} repression
