lmao, the amazon appstore.
the last time i used it was on a phone which i bought with froyo and updated to gingerbread. but even then it was just crap filled with shovelware.
yeah, yeah probably relevant for non-techy people who still hold onto their fire tablets which they didnt instantly jailbroke.
It's still around for their Fire devices, just not Android in general. Otherwise, all Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and Fire Phones would be useless.
We're still in the timeline where the Fire Phone was a commercial success, right? And Bernie Sanders is in his second term as President?
Nobody tell him, just let them live in peace 😌
I can't wait for Bowie's 30th studio album next year
The amazon appstore had this crazy setup where you could get microtransactions in certain games without spending any real money. I must have spent over $1000 on jetpack joyride. I unlocked everything.
Yeah and the free app of the week or was it a day? There were quite a few gems and I used the hell out of them. I hoarded games too hoping I'd play after my studies were over but never got to it.
Back in those Gingerbread days, Amazon were basically doing the Epic Games thing where every other week they'd release a paid app or game for free. It was worth tolerating the crappy app store just for that!
