There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance, such as Libredirect or archive them as you would any other reactionary source.

The way people on here glaze the PRC for standing in solidarity with Hindutva fascists and imperialist warmongers is gonna turn me into a Maoist
Given that the largest imperial power on Earth has spent decades encircling China, I don't blame them for wanting to reduce antagonism with the nuclear-armed state directly south of them that holds a fifth of the world's population.
I certainly don't blame them for that either, and I was perhaps too harsh in my first comment. I just get annoyed by the number of communists I see who heap praise upon a society whose own government admits is capitalist.
The government understands how to separate political power from economic management, and admits to having an economy currently managed by a capitalist class using capitalist relations between workers and capital, but that under a government direction oriented towards the long term goals of the proletarian class. Understanding the relation between these two distinct forms of "being" as a state is necessary

Yes, Modi's government is a supremacist and jingoistic one. It's still better to have India in BRICS than a junior partner to the US. You literally cannot purity test international relations.
Genuinely and in good faith can you explain this perspective to me? Please don't tell me to read theory, I have. I know that imperialism is not simply military action, but is monopoly capitalism and the export of finance capital. Russian mining companies like Severstal and Rusal own facilities throughout Central Asia and Africa. Do you dispute Lenin's definition of imperialism, or think I misunderstand it? Please help me to understand this perspective. Education is necessary for self criticism.
Russia does not export sufficient capital relative to its total economy to make capital exports more important than commodity production. It ranks somewhere in the 30s in terms of countries ranked by capital exports in absolute terms.
It also does not divide up the world into spheres of influence for capital deployment with other imperialist nations. It is not of the imperialist bloc.
These two things prevent it from meeting Lenin's definition of imperialism. Russia has been, in essence, fighting for it's survival since the RF emerged from the dissolution of the USSR. After 7 years of absolutely terrifying economic shock therapy, it has had about 25 years to attempt to spring back and stabilize itself so it can provide for its people. Part of this means playing the new global game of securing resources through the export of capital. No longer is that unique to the imperialists, everyone has to do it because the world has changed since 1917.
The question of imperialism is a question of empire and Russia's foreign direct investments in mining operations are not even at risk of becoming an empire, let alone constituting one in the present day. Nor is Russia trying to maintain its empire against the borders and boundaries of the North Atlantic empire. Russia does not imperial colonial nor neocolonial holdings that it manages as subordinate nations to its own.
Russia has 3 choices: feudalism, capitalism, or socialism. Given it's advanced state of development it won't be feudal. Given it is born from the collapse of a socialist state it will not be socialist for some time. Therefore it is capitalist. But it certainly has not reached the highest stage of capitalism. It is only recently able to reach up from some of the lowest stages of capitalism.
Here I learned preventing further ethnic cleansing and defending yourself against Nazis is imperialist warmongering.
Also keeping good relations with India is better than the posturing that the USA does.
Pushing potential allies away and firmly into the enemy camp is a terrible decision. Every revolution involves risky partnerships, CPC worked directly with their biggest national enemies KMT to repel the imperialists and colonizers, resolving that contradiction before moving on to the next one. Three Mountains, there is a good lecture from Tsinghua university on YT.
The US/NATO bloc is and has always been the core of capitalism. This core contradiction means for China (or any communists) to try and resolve it, anyone not firmly in that US/NATO bloc can be a potential short or long term ally until that contradiction is resolved. If India keeps going down fascist development but helps undermine US/NATO before the relationship becomes untenable for China, then India will have cut its own connection to the imperial core and is too weak on its own to take on China. China needs to increase it's gravity and pull everything into its orbit in order to shift the momentum of social change away from the decaying imperialist center and towards an emerging socialist future.
Political parties will come and go. India will remain.
