Different use cases. Funyuns are for stoners and fried onion is for green bean casserole or adding cronch to a salad that doesn’t call for croutons.

Does anyone have insight into how they figure this stuff out? Who fucked up and let them know he was the chad behind it? How?!

It seems useful to know.

Thanks to a [*German crime fiction series adapted for television and now proving a hit in Italy

Italy, why? Do you not remember PIIGS? (I am aware Italy was the original “I” in the acronym. I’m just including both to avoid anyone going “actually Italy was the initial I, so it’s valid to use just one I in your commen.).

Summary

The magnetic levitation facility would work on the same principle as the hammer throw in athletics but rotating at increasing speeds before throwing the launch capsule towards Earth.

The system’s technical readiness is relatively high. Since it consumes only electricity and does not require any propellant, it will be relatively small in scale and straightforward to implement,” the researchers wrote in the journal Aerospace Shanghai.

“The main goal is to extract and return helium-3 to help address Earth’s energy crisis. The project will also boost the development of space mining technologies, heavy launch vehicles, and artificial intelligence.” Note: the AI angle seems to be related to the targeting calculations, not bazinga shit.

The system is designed to last for at least 20 years, but it will weigh around 80 tonnes and will need to wait for China’s super heavy-lift rocket to start operating before it could be taken to the moon.

The team aimed to complete the development of key components by 2030, followed by lunar surface verification and full-scale implementation by 2045, he said.

There some banger lines and insights. CW, the B-word is used once. If anyone knows of any other articles about early DE/No truce with the Furies please share. I found this while trying to find one that was in a magazine I can't remember.

Deeply unserious. A lot of words wasted when two can summarize: unconditional surrender.

Has he ever been in actual danger before? Quite possibly the first time his bubble of privilege popped and he can’t handle it.

Former staffers said she never prepared for meetings. She resonates with vibes based people so much she operates off them instead of the briefings prepared for her, allegedly.

I regret to inform you the Australian man who eloquently yelled at cops has died. The “see that headlock, this is democracy manifest. GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY PENIS” guy.

Roast/cook some beans (literally any sort), season them, and put them in the freezer. It’s awesome, beat the heat with a bean treat!

Watching a YouTube doc about the yazidi struggle in sinjar. I felt a part of my soul die when a kid asked “will I kill in school” as his dad is explaining that one day he’ll be able to go to school again after ISIS is defeated. The Kurdish has often been co-opted by American interests (and inevitably betrayed every time), but damn did they do a good thing opening up that escape corridor.

Powerful letter, thanks for sharing it.

Palestine is more important is going to be my go to rhetoric next time some lib cries about “project 2025 vote blue no matter who” nonsense
