I know there are people who share passwords with friends and such that does break the terms of service in a more reasonable way to pause an account.

I don't get why I can still file my taxes at my parents house and have my home address for any legal purposes be that then still get kicked off Netflix. Like the government and my health insurance don't care but Netflix does.

It’s because the government isn’t after your data to sell you advertising… yet

Fuck netflix, amazon, disney & anyone else who thinks they can charge me for a service and dictate my privacy controls

Health insurance never cared about your address, and you want to upload your tax returns to watch Netflix? Technically, lots of legal things, like taxes and voting, care about where you spend most of your time when determining your primary residence. So if you don't live with your parents, yet are still filing with their address, that's a problem.
