The entire point is that the weaponized morons ARE the religious hustlers or at least very sympathetic to them, and they always have been.
The weaponized morons ARE the ones joing ICE and becoming the American Gestapo, and they always wanted to.
The fascists here have always been the moronic gun nuts.
The people with the most guns in the US have always been the fascists, the religious extremists, the white supremacists.
It would be extremely silly to expect, at all, to any degree, that they would become anti fascists in the name of universal gun rights.
It would also be extremely silly to think that hundreds of millions of firearms even practically could be removed from society without a massive Gestapo-like force going around and confiscating them...
This has always been the delusional fear of right wing gun nuts in the US, that this would happen to them, and now they are fully onboard with the idea of non rightwingers being disarmed via their own Gestapo that they willed into existence.
It is a kind of 'pre-emptive' strike against a hysterically overexaggerated threat, "we have to do it to them first before they do it to us!"...
... and it is obviously hypocritical because fascists are always logically inconsistent, incoherent, hypocrtitical.
