'Death note' 'psycho pass' or 'ghost in the shell: stand alone complex' if you want very anime but still need to be watching a cop show.

They're not entirely copaganda; two are cyberpunk, one is... The protagonist of 'death note' very much has 100% cop brain, but it's kind of a breaking-bad-esque exploration of 'how this guy could possibly be that much of a piece of shit?’ but i remember it being fun.
