Well, that was a lot of blood. It would be a miracle if he survived that long enough to get him to a hospital without suffering some kind of long-term brain damage.
You assume he didn’t have brain damage in the first place
I take issue with the implication that brain damage is the reason to be fascist and not just being an evil settler.
Most, if not all, of these fascists are emotionally stunted due to child abuse. It’s a type of brain damage that is hard to reverse

Shit was like a hose. He lost litres of blood in seconds and went into instant fencing pose. He was probably unconscious before he even had any idea what happened and dead seconds later.
Kind of a good way to go when you think about it. Can't be scared or in pain when it's that quick.
