40FPS mode at 900-1080p base might be a great option for this game.

depending on how much they rely on some of the feature that renders across frames, it might be better to stick to higher frame rate low res compare to lower frame rate but higher base res.

Wouldn't hurt as an option for sure. In fact, it wouldn't be so bad if they gave a high res low quality option (like Series S) as well.
