Dying light is great in coop

Dying light has always been my favourite zombie game that gives a more believable spin on the tired genre. In coop its a blast, it has no interest in being balanced or make narrative sense like so many games obsess over its just the same game but you're with a friend instead. I wish more games implemented such a type of coop just duplicate the main character and let me have fun with people.
I remember that when I played this with friends we all roleplayed as different elements of Crane's consciousness. IIRC I was Anger Crane. Was a fun bit. I feel like it falls off in the second half though.
