There's way more supply than there was like 10 years ago when streaming was just Netflix. Of course the prices go up.
Demand has gone down because customers are unhappy with the product. Naturally, the prices go up.
Piracy is gaining ground again. 30 dollars per month is crazy pricing for a streaming service.
