This whole series of interviews is fascinating—definitely recommend people check it out if you're at all interested in the development of the manga/anime industry in the US/UK. You definitely have to take some things with a grain of salt, since entrepreneurs have a penchant for self-aggrandizement, but there's a lot of interesting behind-the-scenes history I'd never heard before.
