This is the Lebanon ceasefire.
The IOF have some spare time on their hands now they cannot heavily bomb Gaza so they are doing some side quest terrorizing.
I'm out of the loop... what's stopping them right now?
There is currently a temporary ceasefire deal for captive exchange in Gaza with Israel. Which will last 72 hours for now.
That said, Israel also has a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon which we can see they are not holding up.
Ah okay, so not really anything other than their word then... I was kinda hoping there was more to it, but I guess we can hope this ceasefire lasts.
Indeed. But all we have to go on is Trump assuring Hamas that Israel will accept a permanent ceasefire in exchange after the captive exchange. However both Israel and Trump do not have a very strong track record in keeping their promises so people are rather pessimistic about this only being a temporary genocide pause.
