While i don't know the first thing about her performances, but if it was openly queer then it'd be worse if she didn't go tbh. the opportunity to be openly queer in a repressive society is an opportunity to do good, to undermine their dogmatic bullshit.
I think it just further serves to whitewash Saudi Arabia. "Look, we're so progressive we let a woman on stage! (but a man better have fucking brought her there)"
