I used to know someone who went all in on the carnivore diet for some health problems they were having and... it seemed to help. They developed some brand new problems but recovered enough and were mostly back to being a functioning member of society. After several years carnivoring though, they found out that the real problem was just a truly staggering amount of mold in their apartment complex and they moved and pretty much fully recovered and went back to a normal diet.

Long story, basically, just kinda wonder how common it might be for people who have health problems that they speculate could be solved by the carnivore diet are actually being unknowingly exposed to toxic levels of mold. Still anecdotal obviously, but kinda weird to see it happen twice. Maybe the mold makes you eat meat?
