I think I get it.

Not sure about "cell" but "Nature" and "Science" are both names of famous and prestigious scientific magazines. Getting published in either of them would be the highlight of many scientists' careers.

However, "Nature cell and science" appears to be a far less prestigious scientific magazine and publishing in it is probably easier and far less impressive.

The joke is that publishing in the one, lower end, magazine sounds like publishing in one of the higher end ones

Ahhhh yes I think you're right - pretty sure Cell is another high impact journal so yeah, by publishing in Nat Cell Sci it's as if you're publishing in three higher impact ones at once
