Former U.S. National Security Adviser General Mike Flynn caused an international stir by stating on social media that “Cuba is next ,” after expressing his support for Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado and the Venezuelan people.

The message, published on the X platform with the phrase “ You're next ,” was interpreted by analysts as a nod to a possible political change on the island , following recent calls for freedom in several countries in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Flynn, one of Donald Trump's closest former officials , has maintained a critical stance toward authoritarian regimes in the region and has reiterated his support for movements seeking to restore democracy in Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua.

The post generated mixed reactions: while some users celebrated the message as a show of solidarity with oppressed peoples, others considered it a political provocation. The Cuban government has not yet issued an official statement .

I singled out these countries because they do more than just trade. If I included trade then it would include most of the nations on this planet sans a few (North Korea for example), who dont trade with israhell or still push the two-state solution.

Tbf most military dictatorships in LATAM were very chummy with them. I restricted myself to current big supporters. Idk how Guatemala is now, if its as bad as El Salvador.
