I downloaded it from Aurora Store. I know I can download it from Github through Obtainium but I always run into problems if I use that method. Is FFF private like DDG?

webview is the one embedded with your os, it could be outdated etc. it's just not better than running a hardened chromium browser like cromite then.

Right, I still don't understand how it relates to privacy though unless either it makes either fingerprinting easier (which I imagine could be limited if the UserAgent can be changed) or that the OS itself leaks information back, but at this point it wouldn't matter anyway if you don't trust the OS, so can you please explain?
