Premier Scott Moe has cited a month-old poll from the Angus Reid Institute as support for the new provincial policy adding parental permission over pronouns in schools.

Children have a right to privacy and safety. Human rights are not up for popular vote. I'm sure the residential schools also polled very well in their day.
