It took me a while to even realize that my sms app is "Google Messages". So Google talked to Samsung and said "yo, you doin anything with all those sms? lemme take care of it.

It is not the biggest problem, it is just a new problem. I am as desensitized as anyone, but I also see how ridiculous it is that google is rummaging through all my data as an insatiable ogre.

You don't have to use Google Messenger. You can install an alternative (not free) messenger
