I mean, they need us! Why the fuck are we all putting up with their shit???

Because, many people are stupid, and will put up with shit because they only care about the game, and nothing else.

But I do agree, the industry would benefit from a more informed audience, but who are we kidding, name a single industry of media where the lowest common denominator isn't the mass majority of it's consumers.
