Joking aside though, I find it more difficult to concentrate with music on, unless the task is something that grabs my focus anyway. I'm waiting on a diagnosis, but it feels like it's either the autistic side not liking the distraction, or the ADHD side focusing on the wrong thing 😫
What kind of music it is definitely makes a difference for me. Sometimes if I need to focus really hard, I have to turn on something instrumental otherwise I'll get distracted by the lyrics/singing along in my head.
