I used deleteme for a year and I can safely say that my spam calls significantly dropped, and when I search my name data on me no longer shows up on those people websites. Would recommend
Also remove your phone number from places like LinkedIn and Facebook if you haven't already. I got a few of job scam calls from linkdin
I started using the same one after this weirdo started trying (and failing) to doxx me for like 3 months. A bit pricy but they definitely work. Tried looking myself up a couple months in and I couldn't find shit.
It definitely feels a bit uncomfortable giving them all the information they need to do the job though I'll admit. It makes sense, but I can definitely see why people would question if they're legit. I think I researched for hours before going with it just to make sure it was real.
Though spam calls have definitely been a nuisance again this past month or so.
I trusted in it, because I saw the whole sniperwold jacksfilms thing play out with her almost doxxing him, and he specifically advocated for deleteme and talked about how they removed all his personal info from those sites, and sure enough, where I previously found his home address it was gone. I had heard praises for years about deleteme even back in the earlier internet days so that just sealed the deal for me. I used his coupon code to sign up lol.
