Yep, that's it. The only difference with mine is that I've got the software running on my media server and the display on a tablet, rather than the traditional Pi with a screen setup.
You need some sort of computer to run the back end, and it serves up a web page that can be displayed anywhere within your home network. I think there's a tweak to the config to allow that, but it was really simple. The website is here:
