i think both parties should split AND i also think a communist party would be good:

republican party (the more moderate-to-liberal conservative party)
trumpets of freedom (or 'truthers and realists united for merit and patriotism') (the more hardline extreme conservative party - name inspired by an australian party (with the ai-generated logo) called 'trumpets of patriots')
democratic party (the more moderate-to-liberal progressive party)
labor party (the more democratic socialist/social democratic party)
proletarian workers party (the communist party)

nah group 1-3 should be put in camps and reeducated, not be significant factions in government.

I have a far better list of parties that should exist instead :3

Labor party (Democratic Socialism/very reformist Socialism): They're the furthest right and the cloest to reactionary allowed in the government
The Party of Science and Reason (Technocrats): The party of scientific Marxism and technocracy
Libertarian Party (Libertarian Socialism/Anarchism): The party of all left wing libertarians and anarchists
Workers party (Communism/ML): The primary communist party
