lmao, i gotta use this line sometime.
anyway, i don't really get dating a bunch of people when everybody knows what's up already, but that goes triple for dating multiple people while trying to be a secretive rogue. like what kind of weirdo has that kind of time and energy, let alone the desire? is this one of those "i don't work a full time job and am bored" type of things?
i just don't understand where these people find the will.
My theory is that these guys just do it for the gratification, patriarchal validation for "getting laid a lot", and are, in fact, fundamentally uninterested in other people
In this case, being honest about seeing multiple people is difficult and will shut off any monogamous potential partner, keeping it secret allows for datemaxxing
I think it's for the thrill of getting away with it and, in a sense, having power over people
