It's wild to me that people still use Plex. It used to be free with no registration required, I left when they started wanting a user on their system since I knew that would end up turning into requiring a subscription.
I left when I saw all the attempts to send logs back to the mothership.
Its the only thing that roku supports
There is a jellyfin client for roku. https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-roku I don't know what hoops you need to jump through to get it on the TV, but it might be worth your time and (mack of spending) money.
shit man, they must have added it recently! Thanks for the tip off, its actually available straight from the app page on my TV
