my guess is hides, but probably also meat?

also, even if you accept the normalization of animal agriculture.... wtf is with farming crocodiles? they're so much more dangerous and aggressive than gators, which are already like, not a chill animal i want to relax around with complacency.

even on the other side of the fence, them all just laying their with ancient eyes watching you with the patience of millions of years. waiting, unmoving, for the innocuous change in routine that grants an opportunity to pull you apart like wet bread.

had to look it up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocodile_farm (CW: photos and descriptions of animal captivity, inhumane conditions, slaughter)

so its all terminal products, meat, leather/skin. $60-70 million industry just in Louisiana. most farms are in Thailand, SE Asia seems to be the region, but i guess its wherever crocodilians are found?

the pictures of the enclosures are crazy. like scumbag jurassic park. and it's so many large, carnivorous predators in a confined space. like some amenity a movie supervillain has so they can throw protagonists into when they fail to disclose the doomsday weapon launch codes, only to ultimately find themselves falling prey to their hungry captives when the protagonist foils the plan.
