They usually have a lot of other baked goods available, most is more expensive. They are made in a factory and then shipped frozen, so only the preparation is done in the store. I consider it a great side-effect of mass-consumption. If you buy them at a coffee shop you pay at least €2 while they're of (almost) equal quality.
