British studio Creative Assembly really going all-in on the table top British IP provided by Games Workshop aren't they.
that said I'm curious how they'll go about with, i think, their first game that's not based on warfare from and prior the industrial revolution plus the hocus pocus of the wham fantasty they played with. Like they can't do dawn of total war hammer, so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with
Anchoring it with a role played by a freshly cancelled celeb too lol
charlie kirk as the emperor of mankind?
Counting or not counting hivegang violence
They should add the necrons as a base game faction because i like them.
also it kinda looks like it will have space combat in some way
From what I've heard the devs working on it started as the devs for Halo Wars 2, so it's not as outlandish if you look at it from that perspective.
oh so it might look like dawn of war then, well they had to make that eventual departure from their usual dev style i suppose.
Creative Assembly also announced in their showcase a week or so ago that "their next big game" will be on the new engine, so I imagine it will look a bit novel compared to the rest of the franchise
I will probably play it regardless :(
