Not gay enough. They must've left out the theater crew.
Hey now calling the theatre kids gay is a homophobic stereotype.
That said I'm also a gay theatre kid so not really beating the allegations.

Gay theatre kid to revolutionary communist seems to be a whole thing.
Oh absolutely. There's a lot of angles to it but one that comes to mind immediately is the extreme difference from working together to bring art to life, to then experiencing the extreme alienation of working under capitalism as adults.
Also the most common form of communal living in the US is art collectives. There's one near me that is based in an old sawmill.
It's an easy excuse to be homophobic because you can always hide behind "but I hate theater kids!".
I just want to say theater kids and improv people are annoying without people thinking I'm homophobic dang it.
