They probably want a state of emergency to justify massive privatisations.
Everything has already been privatized. They want to justify militarization and open fascism, starting with persecution and deportations of ethnic Russians.
Do they need an emergency for that? It's probably not worth the effort trying to decipher their motives. It's like trying to decipher what's the motivation of Kaja Kallas
But I do think they're biting way more than they can chew constantly making it seem like Russia is preparing for an invasion. Maybe they're being played by Washington to escalate tensions tho' that's what I'm worried about. If there is one country known for starting wars its...
I might ascribe to much agency to what's probably just reaction. But the banality is even more depressing.
