Just a tip, the best way to link communities on Lemmy is like so: !birdsarentreal@lemmy.world
The link you posted will take users to lemmy.world, where (if they aren't lemmy.world users) they can't interact as they aren't logged in. The !community@instance format will keep users on their instance.
The trick is to link the URL to your client to auto open it there. Works great on my end.
