Glocks are great don't get me wrong, but the whole ergonomics of them just don't work for me. They're well made, reliable, affordable guns, plus their ubiquity means finding parts is easy, plus any gunsmith will know their way around one.

But for me personally the triggers are squishy and sticky. They just feel odd. Maybe the sixth gens are better? I've only fired 3rd and 4th Gen glocks. I've liked the triggers on CZs, Walther, Berettas, and the Sig P210. Also I've fired around 5 different 1911s and they all felt great. This isn't me giving gun recommendations just saying that I tend to go with stuff other than glocks because of my preferences
