I have unfortunately not met any Iranian person who isn't a bizarre monarchist and anti Islamic republic conspiracy theorist ( who believe that the west orchestrated the Ayatollah coming to power somehow).

It's as if the entire diaspora is brainwashed.

I find there's always a selection bias like that, most people you meet in the west from the former Soviet bloc are rabidly anti communist too.

Its either a survivor bias or selection bias but yeah, its easier to find a needle in a haystack than a pro-cuba ex-cuban in the US or iranian in this case .

There are a lot of based pro cuban people in the USA. One example is this one from Miami(yeah, literally the belly of the beast and homeland for fascist and anti cuban terrorists)!

Honestly the best way to find a non loony Iranian in the west is to go to a pro-palestine organization or something similar, becuase they'll usually be disconnected from the opinions of the community.

They exist, but it's not very common for people without political education or who just refuse to acknowledge that the US is the first threat to deal with when it comes to changing Iran.
