We need this and we need the Trans Canada pipeline expanded on. Moe and Smith were all getty about the development of some pipeline down to some state last year to sell our heavy crude.
It takes decades for pil pipelines to turn a profit. By the time that happens, we probably won't be needing the oil, with tech moving so fast. I think the money better spent preparing for that.

Yeah. That would be multiuse and be useful faster
It only takes a few years, just months in some cases, for the oil that is carried in the pipelines to pay for them. You have to look at 'total income', not just the cost to ship the oil through them.
