I don't have much hope for the US. They seem to believe that anything other than unregulated crony capitalism is communism.
It's all self serving. We are run by greed. The truly great see money as a means to an end, our leaders see money as the end in itself, and it's why they will lose, eventually, as a true leader will unite the people and lay waste to their oligarchy.
