As it's in /c/games, imagine how many more FPS they got shaving off hair physics, rt and such.

i remember when the Tomb Raider reboot came out and you could destroy your frames by activating the hair physics on a gpu that didnt support them marx-ok

would you elaborate here because I played all those games on a decade younger GPU and the hair was a constant source of hilarity

TresFX Hair Issues

I got Tomb Raider on Wednesday and was blown away by how good it looks.

I had been running it on full graphics on PC using a GTX 580 card with no problems.

After a recent patch, TresFX causes the game to run at 1 FPS. Is this a common problem? I knew nvidia cards are having issues with it at the moment but I'm surprised that things have become worse, not better.

i had just recently moved from amd to nvidia back then and the hair thing was quite funny thinking back.
