They apparently really like that the EU agreed to grant the US access to it's citizens biometric data
and make itself entirely dependent on the US for energy
This kind of phrasing often refers to EU raising labor and environmental standards. Nobody is labeled a Russian for criticizing flaws in EU governing, like chat control or free trade agreements.
