Honestly, it was probably just India playing both sides and keeping cards close to its chest.

Fucking awful that Modi is the one to do it, but proud that finally India solidarity Pakistan in playing the US and treating it an entity to be used.

Meanwhile India is privatizing the nuclear sector for private domestic and foreign companies, Modi has been absolutely humiliated by Trump again and again and yet takes the softest stances possible.
