Honestly, you’re not alone. A lot of shows that end up being loved long term had a rough start or mixed reactions at first, that “finding its sea legs” phase is real. What matters is whether it has heart, and if you’re feeling that classic Trek spirit, that says a lot.
I think sometimes the loud negativity online makes it seem like everyone hates something when it’s actually just a vocal minority. If the cast is clicking and the tone feels right to you, that’s what counts. Trek has always been a little weird and experimental anyway, that’s part of its charm.
Here’s hoping it gets the time it deserves to grow. 🤞
