I don't understand the question.
I'm Australian. New Zealand is undeniably our closest neighbor geographically and culturally. I'd like to think Canada is a close cultural neighbor, I'd also like to think that the US no longer is. Obviously we have strong historic ties to Britain but I've never felt that our cultures are closely aligned. These points might be contentious.
That said, my partner is Thai. The majority of visitors to our house would be Thai. We speak Thai in our house more than English.
