Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre issued a joint statement during NATO's Exercise Cold Response in Bardufoss, Norway.

The leaders argued that easing restrictions undermines Western efforts to pressure Russia into negotiations and to end the war in Ukraine.

"Canada's position is to maintain sanctions on Russia … including on the shadow fleet, which is moving this oil," Carney said at a press conference. Threats to European security

The Canadian prime minister emphasized that cooperation between Russia and Iran poses a direct threat to European security. He added that such interactions come at a high cost to the Ukrainian people, meaning pressure on Russia must only increase.

Carney noted that Canada, together with European partners, will continue acting within the Coalition of the Willing to counter Russian energy revenues that finance the war.

When did he manufacture consent? Be specific. He's only given his own comments on it (which I disagree with).

When did he say he's mad about the consequences of the war? Be specific. He's only criticized the US choice to remove restrictions on Russia.

I don't like Carney. He's a weasel banker who can't be trusted but you're still getting a downvote from me.

Repeating the lie about Iran seeking a nuclear weapon is manufacturing consent . Iran do not pose a security threat to Europe either. Even in Ukraine it is no longer the case since russia got the shaheed tech and now they improved the tech and are building their own drones .

When did he say he’s mad about the consequences of the war?

The USA easing up the sanctions on Iran is a consequence of the war started by the usa and israel and which carney blamed on Iran

Canada sanctions on Iran started in 1980, there is no legitimate reason why they should have done it expect to follows blindly the united states foreign policies since no Canadians was took hostages during that crisis. It is not too late for Europe and Canada to have genuine diplomatic talks to push Iran away of Russia rather than closer . Don't you see how ridiculous that

Your comment amounts to nothing but autocratic propaganda as it is outright false. Even Chinese state media is citing Iran, saying Ukraine is a 'legitimate target,' and the Chinese government is supporting the Iranian regime as we know. They are explicitly threatening Ukraine.

That aside, Iran already provided weapons to Russia as you say yourself, and it has thus been posing a significant threat to Ukraine and Europe.

Iran is an autocratic regime so try harder to portray me as a autocratic propagandist . If you are so anti autocratic country to the point of justifying wars against them when will you post about Saudi Arabia human right abuses that are very similar to the Iranian regime ones? If China become an ally of the west and still an autocratic country you will stop posting about China.

Iran only real enemies is the united states who want to steal it's resources and the terrorist state of Israel who want to genocide them . The day the west stop sucking israel and the united states dicks and try to renormalize relations with Iran in exchange of moving away from Russia and Iran refuse. I will say yes Iran should not target any European country.

You can't support this war of agression on Iran if you are really anti russia because this war is helping Russia not Ukraine

Yeah the sockpuppet can only operate on boolean logic and when something doesn't neatly fit, like the US-Israel war on Iran which obviously helps Russia, it twists into a pretzel and starts throwing exceptions.
