The right to collectively bargain and strike was fought with blood. Allowing unions was the better alternative to blood. Now they seem to be forgetting that.

Unions and legal strikes were made possible because everyone agreed they were better than the alternative, which was factory workers dragging the owners into the streets and beating them.

I think they've forgotten this lesson.

They’ve warned the smoke is hurting relations between the countries and suggested the U.S. could make it an issue in tariff talks.

There it is! That's what this is about. It's just another attempt to bully us into backing down.
