The courts got it so wrong. Doug Ford and PCs did jack shit for the people of Ottawa while the city was under siege. Change the fucking law if the judges can't get it right.
Fuck Ford, that POS.
The fact of the matter is, the Emergencies Act didn't need to be used...if the authorities at the municipal and provincial level hadn't abrogated their responsibilities.
The change in legislation I want to see is where, if the lower levels of government choose not to use their powers when needed, the federal government can do what they did this time as well as penalize the lower levels for not doing their job.

According to CBC they were removing blockades. I'm assuming much of the issues is just timing, and difficulty in determining whose blocking traffic vs whose commuting. There doesnt seem to be any sources I can find about police not doing their job to remove protestors, outside of fringe websites that are spreading conspiracy theories about the police being far right fascists.
Trudeaus defense was that he was worried that the protestors would turn violent, which seems like a convenient excuse that could be said to dismantle any protest. I'm glad they upheld our freedoms personally.
Cool, they removed blockades. How about enforcing noise ordinances, or public health laws with respect to people defecating in the streets?
Absolutely fuck the clownvoy. They weren't protesting, they were invading. They 100% should have been arrested.
